Chairperson DDC Kulgam reviews implementation of RDD sector schemes

KULGAM, JUNE 26 (RNA) : The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam, M Afzal Parrey today chaired a meeting of Officers to review the implementation of various RDD sector schemes.
The Vice Chairperson of Council, DDC members, Additional District Development Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kulgam, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP) Kulgam, Executive Engineer REW Kulgam, BDOs/POs, AE/AEEs attended the meeting.
At the outset of the meeting, the Additional District Development Commissioner Kulgam, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the DDC briefed the chair regarding implementation of RDD sector schemes.
Besides, Assistant Commissioner Development Kulgam (ACD) and Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP) appraised the council scheme-wise viz. MGNREGA, PMAY, CAPEX, RGSA, SBM (G) 2.0 etc. the physical/financial achievements during the year 2023-24, and also provided the overview of the Proposed/ Approved Plan of activities vis-a vis allocation for the current financial year 2024-2025.
Towards the conclusion of the meeting, the DDC Chairperson laid emphasis on effective coordination and collaboration among various stakeholders in addressing socio-economic issues/grievances.
The Council members suggested that monthly Block-wise regular meetings shall be held for better results and efficient management.
