Implementation of Self-Employment Schemes reviewed in Doda District

DODA, OCTOBER 22 (RNA) : District Development Commissioner (DDC) Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting to review the progress made under different self-employment schemes in Doda district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Manesh Kumar Manhas; GM DIC Paramjeet Singh; ARTO Rajesh Gupta; Assistant Director Employment Nehal Pandit; LDM Parveen Kumar; J&K Bank Officials and concerned officers/officials of the district.
The meeting reviewed employment generated under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Implementation of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM)-UMEED, Support provided to entrepreneurs through District Industries Centre, benefits provided under Tejaswini, Mumkin, Spurring entrepreneurship and Credit Card Schemes in the district.
The DDC directed the concerned officer's/officials to expedite processing of loan applications, increase awareness about schemes through outreach programs and provide necessary handholding support to entrepreneurs.
