Srinagar, Oct 14 (RNA) : JKPCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra paid a visit to the revered shrine of Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (RA) in Charar-i-Sharief today, continuing his long-standing practice of seeking blessings for the welfare of Jammu & Kashmir. Speaking to the media, Karra emphasized his regular visits to the shrine, stating, "I come here regularly to pray for the welfare of Jammu & Kashmir. It has always been my practice."
When questioned about the formation of the new government following the end of President’s Rule after six years, Karra expressed optimism, saying, "In the coming days, we will witness the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected representatives."
He also criticized the Lieutenant Governor's administration for continuing to issue orders despite the presence of elected representatives. "I personally disagree with this approach. There is no logic in the administration issuing orders when the people have elected their own representatives. It is the duty of the popular government to make decisions," Karra asserted.
When asked about his potential role in the new government, Karra humbly stated, "I see myself with the people," reflecting his commitment to serve the public above personal ambition.
