Nasir leads party functionaries in offering tributes to veteran leader at a commemorative function in Kupwara

Srinagar, 23 July: On the 43rd anniversary of the passing of veteran party leader Ghulam Nabi Wani Sogami, the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani led a solemn ceremony in Sogam Kupwara. Surrounded by a multitude of party functionaries, office bearers, and local unit members, Nasir paid his respects with heartfelt floral tributes and prayers.
Nasir presided over a commemorative event in Kupwara, where party members honored the memory of the late leader. They fondly remembered his pioneering work in introducing Water Harvesting to the Kandi belt of Kupwara in the 1950s, as well as his efforts in promoting the stunning Lolab Valley as a tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir. The legacy of Ghulam Nabi Wani Sogami, Nasir said lives on through the dedication and admiration of those who knew him. His contributions to the region will forever be remembered and celebrated by all who continue to benefit from his visionary initiatives, he added.
