Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari urges the administration to ensure swift compensation for Kupwara’s fire victims

Srinagar, October 23 (RNA) : Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday urged the administration to ensure swift compensation for the families rendered homeless by the fire incident in Hyhama, Kupwara.
He expressed sympathies with the sufferers.
In his statement, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “I am saddened to learn that several families were rendered homeless due to a devastating fire incident in Hyhama, Kupwara, on Tuesday evening. Reports indicate that as many as ten structures, including four residential houses and three shops, were gutted in the incident. In a separate incident, a grocery shop in the Bramri area of Kupwara was also reduced to ashes. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to those affected by these tragic incidents.”
“The administration must ensure adequate assistance and compensation for the families rendered homeless and the shop owners who incurred losses in these unfortunate incidents. They must be given compensation swiftly so they can rebuild their homes and businesses before the harsh winter starts,” he added.
