DDC Samba reviews developmental activities under District Capex Budget 2024-25

SAMBA, OCTOBER 11: The District Development Commissioner (DDC), Samba, convened a high-level review meeting today to assess the developmental activities and works taken under the District Capex Budget for the financial year 2024-25.
The agenda of the meeting focused on reviewing the Physical and Financial Status of ongoing projects up to September 2024, with a special emphasis on works that are currently underway. Additionally, the meeting addressed the status of Administrative Approval and Technical Sanction (AAA/TS), Tendering, and the Allotment of New Works.
Along with review of projects, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Projects, Bunker Construction, Panchayat Audit were some key topics discussed during the meeting.
The District Development Commissioner emphasized the importance of completing ongoing projects on time and ensuring that new works under the Capex Budget are executed efficiently, with proper financial oversight and accountability.
The officers were directed to provide the latest physical and financial status reports of all ongoing projects, as well as updates on the allotment of new works, ensuring transparency and accountability in all sectors.
The meeting was attended by senior officers, including the ADDC, Assistant Commissioners from various departments, CEO, CMO and other key officers from departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, Jal Shakti, Tourism, and Sports. The Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies, Samba was also present to provide updates on cooperative sector projects.
