Hundreds of Congress Workers Join Forces with Former Minister Usman Majid in Bandipora

Srinagar, Sep 13 : In a significant political development, hundreds of workers from the Congress party have joined hands with former Minister and MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid, marking a major boost to his campaign. These new supporters united with Majid during meetings held in Sumlar, Srinder, Nussu, Kudara, Bandipora Town, Bagh, Aloosa, Banilpora, Konan, and other areas of the Bandipora constituency. A large number of new entrants from the Panar area also joined at Usman Majid's official residence to pledge their support.
Prominent political activist Imran Mubarak Shah from Konan, Bandipora, also joined with Usman Majid, further strengthening his influence in the Bandipora constituency.
Zonal President Ghulam Hassan (Urf Bilal) and prominent academician Bashir Ahmad, conducted a series of meetings in Srinder, Kudara and other areas of the bandipora constituency. Ghulam Hassan while addressing the Workers and welcoming new entrants said that, The message is clear: Usman Majid is on the path to a decisive victory. His widespread support is a testament to the people’s trust in his leadership, which they see as grounded in merit and experience. The inclusion of new entrants, particularly from key areas within the constituency, demonstrates Bandipora’s citizens' awareness and discernment in choosing their representative. Speaking on occasion, Bashir Ahmad Said that, This wave of support, including political workers from the Congress party, highlights the growing momentum behind Usman Majid’s leadership.
Former Minister Usman Majid, DDC Member Firdousa Akhter, Ghulam Hassan Lone (Zonal President), and Block President Mushtaq Khan warmly welcomed the new entrants during a series of meetings held across the constituency. Speaking on the occasion, Majid emphasized that his extensive experience and proven track record make him the ideal candidate to represent Bandipora's needs and concerns. He expressed hope that the influx of new supporters would strengthen his grassroots base as the elections approach.
Majid also called upon his supporters to intensify their efforts, encouraging them to strengthen their commitment to ensuring a decisive victory. DDC Firdousa Akhter echoed this sentiment, urging workers to spread Usman Majid's vision across the constituency, emphasizing that their unity reflects a shared vision for Bandipora's future.
In a workers' meeting held in the Srinder area, Akhter called on workers to approach the upcoming elections with determination and energy. Block President Mushtaq Ahmad reinforced this by encouraging door-to-door outreach to educate voters about the significance of this election. During the meeting, several new Congress workers were welcomed into Usman Majid's campaign, further energizing the movement.
A similar meeting was held in Dar Mohalla Nussu under the Leadership of DDC Firdousa Akhtar, where local support was mobilized, and strategies were discussed for the upcoming campaign. The focus remained on reaching every household and spreading Usman Majid’s message throughout the Bandipora constituency.
While addressing the gathering, Akhtar emphasized that the growing support for Majid reflects the public’s confidence in his leadership and his commitment to Bandipora’s development. She urged workers and new entrants to intensify door-to-door campaigns, highlighting the significance of this election for the future of Bandipora.
