General Observer evaluates Polling Stations in Tehsil Bhomag

REASI, SEPTEMBER 12: Avi Prasad, General Observer for Assembly Constituencies 57-Reasi and 58-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, undertook a visit today to inspect various polling stations in Tehsil Bhomag as part of the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.
The stations reviewed included PS 01 at Government Middle School Sermeghan, PS 08 at Government High School Sersundwan, and PS 02 at Government Middle School Bakal.
During the visit, Prasad examined the latest electoral rolls and evaluated the distribution status of voter slips by Booth Level Officers (BLOs). The Tehsildar Bhomag provided an update on election readiness, particularly regarding the ongoing voter slip distribution.
Additionally, Mr. Prasad engaged with local community members, including ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, chowkidars, and lambardaars, to address their concerns and facilitate a smooth electoral process.
This visit highlights the Election Commission of India's dedication to ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections in the region.
