Usman Majid Ramps Up Election Campaign with Public Meetings

Former Planning Minister and MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid on Friday addressed a series of meetings in various areas of the Bandipora Constituency, including Laharwalpora, Kanilbagh, Qazipora, CA Khan, and Balhama. These meetings were part of his ongoing efforts to intensify his election campaign and strengthen his support base.

During these gatherings, Majid warmly welcomed several political workers from various parties—including the PDP, Congress, and others—who joined him in his caravan. Expressing his delight at the new additions to his political camp, Majid said the strength and unity that this merger brings to their collective efforts in serving the people of Bandipora. This move is a significant boost to our campaign, further consolidating our influence in the Bandipora constituency.

Welcoming the new entrants, Majid acknowledged their importance and stated that their joining is a major boost to his campaign. He encouraged the workers to intensify their efforts and strengthen their commitment to ensure a decisive victory in the upcoming elections. The joining of new members from other parties not only strengthens Majid's position but also enhances his capacity to address the needs and aspirations of the people of Bandipora.

Addressing the meetings, Majid emphasized the importance of inclusive development and reiterated his commitment to ensuring that all voices in the constituency are heard and represented. He outlined key projects that he initiated as a Minister and MLA in these areas, including improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, and education. He assured the people of his unwavering dedication to enhancing their quality of life.

Reflecting on the significance of the newly joined leaders, Majid stated, "The inclusion of these experienced leaders and workers from different political backgrounds strengthens our collective resolve to work for Bandipora's development. Their trust and support are a testament to the shared vision of a prosperous future for our constituency.

Addressing workers in Laharwalpora, Majid said that the area has been neglected by certain political and vested interests, leading to a halt in its development progress. He assured the people that, if voted to power again, he will work diligently to bring Laharwalpora onto the tourism map and elevate its development to the next level.

DDC member Firdousa Akhtar, on the occasion, requested workers and new entrants to go door-to-door and help people understand the significance of this election. He termed the joining of the new entrants from Laharwalpora as a significant boost for Usman Majid ahead of the assembly elections. Akhtar added that Usman Majid is gaining widespread support through his comprehensive outreach programs.

Majid also offered Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid in the Qazipora area of the Bandipora Constituency. He prayed for peace and prosperity for the entire J&K region. He visited the residence of Ghulam Nabi Sofi of Qazipora, who passed away after a brief illness and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
