JD(U) State President Kashmir GM Shaheen Meets Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh in Delhi

Delhi, July 17 (RNA) : In a significant political engagement, JD(U) State President for Kashmir, GM Shaheen, met with Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan) Singh, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj and Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, in Delhi on Wednesday.
The meeting, held at the ministry office, focused on key issues concerning the development of rural areas and the enhancement of fisheries, animal husbandry, and dairying sectors. Both leaders discussed the implementation of various schemes aimed at boosting the local economy and improving the livelihoods of people in these sectors.
GM Shaheen emphasized the importance of strengthening the Panchayati Raj system to ensure effective grassroots governance and sustainable development. He highlighted the need for increased funding and support for fisheries and animal husbandry to bolster the agricultural economy in Kashmir.
Rajiv Ranjan Singh assured full cooperation from the central ministries to support the initiatives proposed by GM Shaheen. He acknowledged the challenges faced by the region and reiterated the government's commitment to addressing them through collaborative efforts.
The meeting is seen as a crucial step towards fostering regional development and enhancing the socio-economic conditions of rural communities in Kashmir.
