Dr Farooq visits Eidgah Fire tragedy site
Offers support to those impacted by the unfortunate event

Srinagar, 05 July: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Friday visited Firdous Colony Eidgah, where a tragic fire had ravaged numerous homes and a Mosque.
Dr. Farooq interacted with families affected by the devastating fires, who shared with him the harrowing details of their ordeal.
Promising the fire victims unwavering support from the National Conference, Dr Farooq implored the District Administration to swiftly deliver financial aid and assistance to those in need. He was accompanied by his Political Advisor Mushtaq Guroo as they witnessed the devastation firsthand.
It is pertinent to mention that In Charge Constituency Eidgah and former Speaker Mubarak Gul had already visited the site of the tragic fire yesterday and assessed the situation.
Later Dr. Farooq offered Friday congregational prayers at the Asar-e-Sharif Dargah, Hazratbal, where he beseeched the Almighty for the well-being and protection of the oppressed people of Palestine.
