Srinagar Sep 27 (RNA): JK Peoples Democratic Party Spokesperson Mohd Rafique Rather has welcomed the government Proposal of establishing an Ayurvedic Medical College at Baramulla.
In a press statement Rafique Rather said "i appreciate the government move to establish an Ayurvedic Medical College at Baramulla and at the same time i urge upon LG administration to use already available infrastructure to start the operation of the said medical College as soon as possible".
Rafique Rather said that since there is Old Hospital Building available with adequate infrastructure, so it would be better to use this building for immediate operation of the proposed College till new building with expanded modern infrastructure comes up for the purpose. Rafique Rather expressed hope that all political parties and leaders across party line, Civil Societies,Traders Federation and Auqaf Islamia Baramulla would speak in one voice to see this prestigious project getting established at Baramulla and make it sure that it may not be shelved or shifted from Baramulla, the way we have previously seen many such projects getting shifted to other places on one pretext or the other.
Rather cautioned that some politicians have started taking credit for the project when they have nothing to do with it and people of Baramulla need to understand such political gimmicks to hoodwink gullible people around.
