MVD team conducts 2 -day vehicle checking drive in Gandoh area

DODA, SEPTEMBER 16 (RNA) : The Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) conducted a two-day checking operation in Gandoh Bhalessa and the adjacent link roads on September 15th and 16th, 2023. The MVD team, led by Robin Parihar, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI), and Neetan Singh, Assistant MVI, worked in close collaboration with other official staff, traffic police, and the Jammu and Kashmir police force. The PRIs also participated in this drive and made a strong appeal to the public and mostly to the drivers community to follow the traffic rules and regulations to avoid any road mishaps. During the comprehensive vehicle checking drive, a total of 120 vehicles were inspected. The operation resulted in the issuance of challans to 57 vehicles for various violations of the Motor Vehicles Act and associated rules. This proactive checking operation aimed to enhance road safety and promote compliance with traffic regulations. It serves as a reminder to all vehicle owners and operators to adhere to the law. The Motor Vehicles Department, working hand in hand with law enforcement agencies, remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring road safety and order in the region.
