Public Outreach: DC Shopian visits Imam Sahib tehsil

SHOPIAN, SEPTEMBER 12 (RNA): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb today visited Imam Sahib tehsil of the district to take spot assessment of the issues concerning public, besides taking stock of ongoing developmental works in the area. The DC interacted with the locals of the area and enquired about the status of various developmental and welfare services. DDC Members, Ajaz Ahmed Mir and Jan Mohammad also met DC and interacted on various public interest issues. The DC, while reviewing the status of road infrastructure in Imam Sahib, resolved a dispute on spot which was impeding the road construction work. Several other concerns flagged-off by people and public representatives were addressed by the DC on the spot while some were referred to concerned executing agencies and authorities for redressal. Directions were issued to officers of R&B and Revenue for redressal of public issues at the earliest to ease the life of the general masses. Tehsildar, Imam Sahib, AEE, R&B and other concerned were present on the occasion. NO: PR/DDI/SGR/23/3628/ ADDC convenes Concurrent Audit Team meeting at Bandipora BANDIPORA, SEPTEMBER 12: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Bandipora, Ali Afsar Khan Tuesday convened a meeting of Concurrent Audit Team regarding the ongoing and recently completed languishing projects within the district. The meeting reviewed the progress of different projects under execution. The ADDC stressed on the timely execution and efficient resource allocation regarding the projects. The ADDC directed the concerned to identify bottlenecks that act as hindrances in the execution of the developmental works. He stressed for the timely resolution of the issues so that people can avail benefits of these projects. The meeting was attended by Accounts Officer to DC Office Bandipora, Assistant Executive Engineer from Jal Shakti Department Bandipora, R&B Department Bandipora and R&B Department Sumbal besides others.
