Including Article 370 restoration in opposition alliance real legitimate test for NC and PDP : AIP

Srinagar Sep. 04 (RNA) : Congratulating NC and PDP for getting lion's representation in INDIA, the amalgam of opposition parties, AIP has said that the sincerity and intentions of these main regional parties will be facing the legitimate test when the manifesto or the policy paper of the alliance comes out. Party Spokesperson Firdous Baba in a statement said. "These parties under the banner of Gupkar Alliance had promised Gandhian type of Movement for restoration of Article 370 and 35a, which however never happened and they just relied on the Supreme Court. However they know better that more than a legal matter restoration of Article 370 is a political decision. As such the opposition alliance which has forecasted victory in 2025 Parliament Elections must include restoration of Article 370 and 35a in the manifesto to accommodate the core political slogan of NC and PDP. NC and PDP must get the demand to restore special status in the manifesto of the Alliance if that doesn't happen then there will be no fun in joining the opposition alliance" Spokesperson Firdous Baba also congratulated Iltija Mufti for getting a place in national politics as she has been nominated to one of the core groups of alliance. Firdous Baba expressed his hope that Iltija Mufti will play her role in persuading the alliance to promise the restoration of Article 370 and 35a.
