Gandhi Jayanti preparations in BHS Sopore

Srinagar Sep 30 (RNA): In continuation with the performance of the activities as part of the Gandhi Jyanti BHSS SOPORE today undertook two effective exercises; One in the morning session and the other in the evening session. A mega cleanliness drive was conducted just after the morning assembly wherein the staff and students participated in sanitizing the the school campus of dirt and litter. In the afternoon session an interesting debate was organised on the theme," Swachhta hi seva" in which young student debators highlighted the importance of the cleanliness and its social, political,economical implications. President Municipal Council Sopore Ma'am Masarrat Nisar was the chief guest on the occasion. Besides the Student speakers Ma'am Masarrat Nisar and the Principal of the institution Mr.Mushtaq Sopori elucidated the importance of the cleanliness and its alliance with the public health and hygiene. The outstanding student speakers were felicitated on this occasion.
